Hera Pre-Written Emails for WooCommerce

Write the emails you send about an order once, as templates, then send them to customers from the WooCommerce Orders screen, one order or many at a time, without leaving wp-admin.

Hera Pre-Written Emails is for the messages a person decides to send about one order: asking a customer to confirm their delivery address, explaining a delay, asking for details before an order is processed, following up after delivery.

What it does

• Email templates under their own Order Emails menu, each with a subject, a heading, a rich-text body and a choice of HTML, plain text or multipart.
• Placeholder tags such as {order_number} and {customer_full_name}, replaced with the order’s data when the email is sent.
• A preview in the browser, and a test copy to yourself with sample data, before a template is used on a real order.
• A Send Email button on the Orders list, a Custom Email box on the order screen, and a bulk action that sends one template to many orders at once.
• Before anything goes out, the send window shows the address the email goes to, and a bulk send asks you to confirm.
• An optional file, such as a warranty card or a user guide, attached to every email a template sends.
• A Custom Email column with a Sent / Not sent badge, and filters for the orders that have or have not had one.
• Every send is noted on the order, and the order’s history shows who sent which template, and when.

What it leaves out

• Nothing is sent automatically: there are no schedules and no triggers. Every email goes out because someone chose to send it.
• It is not a marketing or newsletter tool.
• It needs no mail settings of its own. Emails go through WooCommerce’s mailer, so your store’s email styling and any SMTP plugin you use apply to them.
• Order details in an email, such as its status and date, are in your store’s language, as in WooCommerce’s own emails, even when your own wp-admin uses another.
