Hera Backup Pro
Hera Backup is a backup, restore and staging plugin for WordPress. Hera Backup Pro is its paid add-on, and needs the free plugin on the same site. It adds more places to send your backups, managed storage in Hera Backup Hub, staging on a subdomain, and support by ticket. Every plan is a yearly licence with every Pro feature: the plans differ in how many sites they cover and how much Hera Backup Hub storage comes with them.
More Hera Backup Hub space: add 10 GB for $25 a year, up to ten times (100 GB) per account, in your account at app.herapress.com. Add-ons are part of your Hera Backup plan's subscription: they renew with it, and they end when it ends.
What every Hera Backup Pro plan includes
- Backups sent to Amazon S3, S3-compatible storage, Google Drive, Dropbox and FTP or FTPS, as with the free plugin, and also to DigitalOcean Spaces, Wasabi, Backblaze B2, Cloudflare R2, OneDrive, pCloud, Hetzner, SFTP and Hera Backup Hub.
- Hera Backup Hub: storage for your backups that we run, with the space your plan includes.
- Schedules every hour, day, week or month. The free plugin schedules daily.
- Incremental backups of your files.
- AES-256-GCM encryption for the backups you start yourself. Scheduled backups are not encrypted.
- Staging on a subdomain, and pushing a staging site back to live, with the tables and files you choose.
- Pulling a whole site from another server that also runs Hera Backup Pro.
- Notifications by Slack, Telegram and webhook, as well as email.
- WP-CLI commands.
- Updates while your licence is active, and support by ticket.
When a Hera Backup Pro plan ends
Hera Backup Pro keeps working on the sites where it is installed, but no longer receives updates or support. Hera Backup Hub stops accepting uploads. For 30 days you can still download and restore your backups, and then they are deleted. A new plan within those 30 days keeps them.
Hera Site Monitor
Hera Site Monitor is a free plugin that notices PHP errors, broken pages and problems that start after an update on your WordPress site. Connect the site to your HeraPress account, and our servers also check from outside that it answers, take screenshots of its pages and compare them with the look you approved, and alert you by email and Telegram. A plan adds more sites, more frequent checks, more pages and a longer history. Plans are billed monthly or yearly, and a year costs as much as ten months.
Free, without a plan: up to 3 live sites, a check every 5 minutes that each one answers, a screenshot of its home page on desktop and mobile once a day and after updates, alerts by email and to one Telegram chat per site, and 7 days of history. Install the plugin and connect the site to a free account.
When a Hera Site Monitor plan ends
Your sites go back to the free plan, and the longer history your plan kept stays for 30 more days.
How billing works
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, so your receipt comes from Paddle, and Paddle handles payment, invoices and tax.
- Prices are in US dollars. Tax is added at checkout where it applies.
- Every plan is a subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it: Hera Backup Pro plans every year, Hera Site Monitor plans every month or every year. When you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.
- A full refund is available within 14 days of a payment for a yearly plan, and within 7 days for a monthly plan, renewals included. See the Refund Policy.
