Compatibility

This article lists what the plugin works with, and the one store setting that changes what it fills in.

Checkout block and classic checkout

The plugin works with the Checkout block and with the classic checkout built with the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode, and it declares this to WooCommerce, so WooCommerce does not list it as incompatible with the Checkout block.

Order storage (HPOS)

The plugin never reads or writes orders, so it works with High-Performance Order Storage and with the older post-based storage. It declares this to WooCommerce as well, so it never stops you from switching between the two.

Plugins that change the checkout

On the classic checkout and under My account → Addresses, the plugin works with WooCommerce’s standard address fields. A plugin that restyles the checkout but keeps those fields does not get in the way. If a plugin replaces the address fields with fields of its own, this plugin cannot fill them in.

A store that removed the prefectures

The prefecture is set by its WooCommerce code, from JP01 to JP47. If your store has taken the Japanese prefectures out of the state field, so the field takes free text, the plugin leaves that field alone and still fills in the city and the address.

Versions it is tested on

The plugin is tested on the oldest and the newest versions it supports: WordPress 6.5 with WooCommerce 8.0, and WordPress 7.1 with WooCommerce 11.1, both on PHP 7.4.
