The Affiliates report

The Affiliates report has one row per affiliate, with what their coupons brought in over the period. This article explains the columns and what the amounts include.

Go to Affiliate Reports → Affiliates. The report covers the period and filters in the bar at the top. See Filtering the reports.

The columns

Column What it shows
Affiliate The affiliate’s name, with their email address below. Click the name to open the Orders report for this affiliate.
Coupons How many of the affiliate’s coupons were used on orders in the period.
Orders Orders that used any of their coupons, each order counted once. A second line splits them into confirmed and pending when not all are confirmed.
Cancelled Orders cancelled after they were paid. A second line adds the orders that were never paid, when there are any.
Cancellation rate Cancelled orders as a share of finished orders, with the count below, for example “1 of 8 finished orders”.
Sales The totals of their confirmed and pending orders, less refunds.
Discount given What their coupons took off those orders, and its share of their sales.
Commission Commission earned on confirmed orders and its share of their sales, with pending commission on a second line. Shown only while commission tracking is on.

Orders that used a coupon with no affiliate appear together in a row named “Unassigned”.

An order that used coupons of two affiliates, or an affiliate’s coupon and one without an affiliate, is counted in each of those rows, with its full sales each time. So the rows can add up to more than the dashboard, which counts each order once.

What the amounts include

  • Sales is each order’s full total as the customer paid it: after discounts, with tax, shipping and fees, less anything refunded. It is always the whole order, not just the products a coupon discounted.
  • Discount given is the discount of the affiliate’s coupons, without tax.
  • “of sales” shares compare an amount with the same row’s Sales. For commission, that is not the commission rate: sales include tax and shipping, and pending orders, while earned commission covers confirmed orders only.

Cancelled, never paid and refunded orders add nothing to sales, discount or commission.
