All settings

Updated

Every setting of the plugin is on one screen, Affiliate Reports → Settings. This article lists them all, with their defaults and where each is explained in more detail.

Click Save Changes, at the end of the settings, after a change. Users with the Administrator or Shop manager role can change these settings.

Order outcomes

These decide which outcome each order lands in. See Order outcomes and the cancellation rate.

Setting Default What it does
Confirmed statuses Processing, Completed Orders in these statuses are confirmed: their commission is earned and can be paid.
Cash on delivery Ticked Keep cash on delivery orders pending until they are Completed. holds a cash on delivery order at Processing as pending.
Cancelled statuses Cancelled, Failed Orders in these statuses are cancelled, or never paid when no payment was ever taken.
Refunded statuses Refunded Orders in these statuses are reported as refunded.

A status left unticked in all three lists counts as pending. Every order status in your store is listed, including custom statuses added by other plugins. A change applies to every order at once, past ones included.

Reports

Setting Default What it does
Default date range Last 30 days The period every report opens on. See Filtering the reports.

Affiliate notifications

Setting Default What it does
Send the email When the order reaches Processing When the new order email goes out: As soon as the order is placed, When the order reaches Processing or When the order reaches Completed. See The new order email.

The Edit the email link opens the email’s own settings in WooCommerce, where you change its wording or switch it off.

Commission

Setting Default What it does
Track commission Off Shows commission in the reports, and lets you record payments.
Default rate 10, Percentage per order The rate of every coupon that does not set its own: Percentage per order, Fixed amount per order or No commission.
Calculated on Nothing added What a percentage is worked out on, besides product totals after coupon discounts: Add shipping, Add fees, Add tax on everything counted.

Saving a new rate or base recalculates the orders not yet paid for. See Changing a commission rate.

Data

Setting Default What it does
When deleting the plugin Unticked Also delete the affiliate details and commission rates saved on each coupon, and the record of payments. See Deactivating and deleting the plugin.

Report index

The Report index box, below Save Changes at the bottom of the screen, has the Rebuild index and Sync affiliates from coupons tools. See The report index.
